I love Mac N Cheese, yes you read right Mac N Cheese. It’s probably the one food that I can eat everyday with or without sides. This recipe is guaranteed to be a hit at everyone’s dinner table.
Half box of Penne Pasta (Traditionally macaroni elbows are used)
1/2 stick of butter
2 cup of heavy cream
1 teaspoon of Taylor Homemade House Blend
(If you don’t have this spice blend a 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, Salt, Pepper and a pinch of Red pepper is a great substitute)
4-5 cups of shredded cheese (Sharp cheddar, Block of cheddar chopped, Cheddar, Mozzarella, and Jack)
1/2 cup of sour cream
*Top with additional shredded cheese*
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Melt the butter.
Add heavy cream
Mix in cheese, spices and sour cream.
Allow the cheese to melt down into a smooth sauce. This should take about 3 minutes on low heat.
Make sure you continuously stir in order to keep the cheese sauce from sticking to the pan.
Mix with the cooked pasta and pour into a baking dish and top with more shredded cheese.
Bake until golden brown and bubbly. Enjoy warm!
