Crab Mushrooms

Simple yet easy recipe.

Being from the Washington, DC area, I love crabs! Over the weekend I had a taste for mushrooms but I also wanted crabs. So I asked myself what if I bring the two together ....


1 lb Small mushrooms (whole)

1 tablespoon of butter

1/2 tablespoon of Taylor Homemade Chili olive oil

2 teaspoons freshly minced garlic

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup crab meat (I used lump crab meat)

1 cup bread crumbs

1 cup Parmesan cheese

1/2 tablespoon of Taylor Homemade Herb Garlic spice blend

(You can also use your favorite spices)

1/2cup shredded Parmesan cheese


Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.In a bowl mix mushrooms, oil, melted butter and spices toss. And transfer to your baking pans.In a separate pan. Add cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, crab meat, bread crumbs and spices. Stir well to combine.Top mushrooms with crab mix, add more cheese if needed. Bake for 20 minutes, or until heated thoroughly.  If you prepare darker tops like me, broil on high for 6 minutes.

This was absolutely delicious! You can use this recipe as a side dish or as a quick meal.
